Sick Puppy Becomes The Cutest, Happiest Dog

Meet Dexter, The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust rescued this poor puppy. This poor little pup was admitted today with tetanus. Someone thought it would be a good idea to cut his tail off. His prognosis is very  poor but we will try our best for him.

Day 2: The little tetanus pup has been christened Soprano because he can sing! He is still with us which is some kind of miracle.
Day 3: Little Dextex is still with us and there are some small signs of improvement and less stiffness in his  body. The  person who brought him in came to visit him today. He says he rescued it from children,  who were abusing it and he named him Dexter. It is pretty amazing that he is still with us.
Day 6: Little Dexter has been struggling a bit during the last 24 hours but brightened up again this evening. Little Dexter is getting stronger every day, and even starting to enjoy small amount of solid food.
Day 35: Dexter is now almost fully recovered, and the man who originally brought him into the charity is interested in offering him a forever home. The road to recovery was grueling and winding for this tiny pup, but it’s clear that he had the will to survive.
Day 45: Dexter recently went on a trip to our Sambel centre, He seemed to love it all and of course he had Emily and big brother Simba with  him so all was well. Dexter deserve a second chance in life, a happy life forever waiting for our little puppy. Thank you so much for all your support!
